Not sleeping enough causes stress hormones in the body to increase, which can lead to unsightly inflammatory skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Ample sleep gives your skin a better chance of clearing up as the body gets rid of dead blood cells and other byproducts that can cause breakouts on your skin. When it comes to inflammation in your body, inflammatory cells break down your collagen and hyaluronic acid, which are needed to give your skin a vibrant and glowy appearance.

Rebalancing Hydration

Sleeping allows your skin to hold on to moisture while also releasing excess fluid build up in the body. Lift Your Brows: You can lift your eyebrows by placing your index and middle fingers together and placing your fingernails over your brows to slowly push the skin down. Use your fingernails as resistance as you lift your eyebrows up and down ten times. Do this for six sets altogether.

Lift Your Cheekbones: Put your fingers over your cheekbones and slowly lift the skin until it is tight. Open your mouth into an “O” shape until you feel resistance in the cheeks and hold for 5 seconds. Do this for 10-15 sets altogether.

Did you know that your breasts can benefit from exercise? Swimming is excellent as are pectoral strengthening exercises like push-ups, traveling plank, Cobra pose and lifting free weights.
